Booking & Reservations
How do I make a reservation?
Book online 24/7 using the "Book Now" button. Choose your date, number of jet skis, and pickup or delivery option. Pay a small deposit to secure your spot — balance due at pickup or before launch.
Can I book on the same day?
Same-day bookings are available based on availability. We recommend booking at least 24–48 hours in advance, especially on weekends when jet skis fill up fast.
How far in advance should I book?
Weekdays: 24–48 hours notice is usually fine. Weekends and holidays: 1–2 weeks in advance is recommended to guarantee availability of all 4 jet skis.
How many jet skis are available?
We currently have 4 jet skis: two 2022 Yamaha VX Deluxe, one 2022 Yamaha VX Limited, and one 2017 Yamaha VX Cruiser. All are 3-passenger Yamaha VX Series watercraft.
Pricing & Payment
What is the pricing structure?
Pricing is per jet ski, per full day. Mon–Thu: $250/ski · Fri–Sun: $350/ski · Holidays: $400/ski. A delivery fee of $150 (local lakes) or $250 (extended distance) is added for weekend delivery. Self-pickup has no delivery fee.
How does the deposit work?
A small online deposit secures your booking. The remaining rental balance plus the refundable security deposit are collected at the time of pickup or before equipment is released.
What is the security deposit?
$750 for 1 jet ski, $1,000 for 2 or more jet skis. A credit card authorization is placed at check-in and the card remains on file until post-return equipment inspection is completed. Fully refundable with no damage.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash, Venmo, and Credit Card. We do not accept checks. A credit card is required for the security deposit hold regardless of how you pay for the rental itself.
Are there any hidden fees?
No hidden fees. Your quote covers the jet ski rental, fuel, life jackets, and safety briefing. Delivery fee (if applicable) and the refundable security deposit are the only additions.
Requirements & Safety
What is the minimum age to operate?
Operators must be at least 18 years old with a valid government-issued photo ID and driver's license. There is no minimum age requirement for passengers — all passengers must wear a life jacket at all times.
Do I need a boating license?
A valid driver's license is required for all operators. In Utah, individuals born after January 1, 1986 must also have completed a boater education course. We'll verify at check-in.
What safety is provided?
All rentals include Coast Guard-approved life jackets for all riders, a thorough safety briefing before launch, waterway guidance, and direct contact with Jose during your rental period.
Can first-timers ride?
Absolutely. Our staff gives a full tutorial before you head out. The Yamaha VX Series is beginner-friendly, and Jose is always available by call or text if you need support on the water.
Cancellations & Weather
What is the cancellation policy?
7+ days before rental: full refund of deposit. 3–5 days before: 50% refund. Less than 72 hours before: no refund. Cancellations initiated by Lumora due to unsafe conditions receive a full refund or free reschedule.
What is the weather policy?
If unsafe weather conditions occur (high winds, lightning, storm warnings), customers may choose a full refund or reschedule at no charge. Customer preference cancellations due to clouds, cooler temperatures, or light weather conditions do not qualify for refunds outside the normal cancellation policy.
Can I reschedule my booking?
Yes — you may reschedule once with at least 72 hours' notice, subject to availability. Contact Jose directly at 801-471-5108.
Pickup, Delivery & Transport
Can I pick up the jet ski myself?
Yes. Self-pickup is available any day of the week from our West Valley City location at 5964 W Turtle Creek Court. Customers may bring their own trailer or we'll coordinate logistics. Night-before pickup may be available when scheduling allows and equipment has been inspected — subject to availability, not guaranteed.
Is delivery available every day?
Weekend delivery (Friday–Sunday) is available subject to availability. We do not offer delivery on weekdays. If you need a weekday ride, self-pickup is the standard option.

Can I rent all 4 jet skis at once?
Lumora currently operates with one company trailer. Up to two jet skis can typically be rented using the company trailer. Renting three or four jet skis may require the customer to provide sufficient towing capacity and additional transportation. Contact us before booking to confirm logistics.
Are out-of-state rentals available?
No. Lumora's service area is limited to Utah lakes and reservoirs. Lake Powell and out-of-state locations are not available.
