By renting from Lumora Rentals LLC, all riders agree to the following:
I understand and acknowledge that operating a personal watercraft (jet ski) involves inherent risks, including the possibility of serious physical injury or death. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with the use of rented watercraft.
I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Lumora Rentals LLC, its owners, officers, employees, agents, and assigns (collectively “Lumora”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising from or related to my use of rented watercraft, whether caused by negligence of Lumora or otherwise.
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lumora Rentals LLC from all claims, costs, expenses, and liabilities (including attorney’s fees) arising from my use of the rental equipment or any breach of this Agreement.
Safety Rules & Requirements
All renters and riders must comply with the following safety rules at all times:
- Minimum age to operate: 18 years old with valid government-issued photo ID and driver’s license
- No minimum age requirement for passengers — all passengers must wear a life jacket
- Individuals born after January 1, 1986 in Utah must hold a boater education certificate
- Life jackets (Coast Guard-approved) must be worn at all times while on the water
- No alcohol or drug consumption before or during the rental period
- Operators must attend the mandatory safety briefing before departure
- Stay within safe operating zones — no reckless operation or excessive speed near others
- Immediate stop and report required in case of any accident or incident
- No more than the specified number of passengers per watercraft (max 3 per ski)
Payment & Deposit Policy
Pricing:
- Mon–Thu: $250 per jet ski / full day
- Fri–Sun: $350 per jet ski / full day
- Holidays: $400 per jet ski / full day
- Local Delivery: $150 · Extended Delivery: $250
Online Deposit:
A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of online booking to secure your reservation. The deposit is applied toward the total rental cost.
Security Deposit:
- Single-Day Rental: $750 credit card authorization
- Multi-Day Rental: $1,000 credit card authorization
A credit card authorization is placed at check-in and the card remains on file until post-return equipment inspection is completed. The deposit is returned in full with no damage.
Payment Methods:
Cash, Venmo, and Credit Card accepted. No checks accepted. A credit card is required for the security deposit hold regardless of how the rental balance is paid. Final balance and security deposit are collected at pickup or before launch.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
- 7+ Days Before Rental: Full refund of the online deposit. No penalties.
- 3–5 Days Before Rental: 50% refund of the online deposit.
- Less Than 72 Hours Before Rental: No refund. The deposit is forfeited. No exceptions unless due to verified unsafe weather conditions initiated by Lumora.
- Weather & Operational Cancellations: If unsafe weather conditions occur (high winds, lightning, storm warnings), customers may choose a full refund or free reschedule. Customer preference cancellations due to clouds, cooler temperatures, or light weather do not qualify for refunds outside the normal cancellation policy. Cancellations initiated by Lumora due to equipment failure or other operational reasons receive a full refund or free reschedule.
- Service Area Restrictions: Lumora operates within Utah only. Lake Powell and all out-of-state locations are not available.

Rental Agreement Terms
Equipment Condition:
All watercraft are provided in good working condition. Any pre-existing damage must be documented before departure. Renters are responsible for reporting any damage or incidents immediately.
Rental Period:
Rental time begins at the agreed delivery time. Early return does not entitle the renter to a partial refund. Extensions must be requested and approved before the original rental period expires.
Prohibited Activities:
- Racing or speed competitions
- Towing persons on tubes, skis, or other towable devices
- Operating in restricted or closed waterway areas
- Transporting more than 3 passengers per watercraft
- No alcohol or drug consumption before or during the rental period
Damage Responsibility:
Renters are financially responsible for damage caused by negligence, misuse, or violation of operating rules beyond normal wear and tear. Assessment conducted upon return.
Return:
Watercraft must be ready for pickup at the agreed time and location. Late returns may incur additional charges.
- Digital Signature Required
A digital waiver signature is collected during the booking process (Step 5). By signing, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all policies listed on this page. The waiver must be completed before any watercraft is released.
